What is woodturning?
What is a hollow form?
How do I clean and care for my wood bowl?
What type of finish is on my bowl?
Each bowl is crafted by hand in our home workshop, each one is unique, with one-of-a-kind pattern and design. All of our salad bowls have a food-safe finish.
Why do we like wood items so much?
Wood represents a return to nature and simplicity. In a society that thrives on social media and mass-produced products, handcrafted wood items are a refreshing change of pace. A little piece of nature at your fingertips.
Our goal?
Nothing can match the natural beauty of wood, our goal is to bring out and highlight the unique pattern and grain of the woods we work with to create beautiful and functional pieces.
Sustainability?
Most of the woods we use are sourced locally from fell trees. You will find that our collection includes lots of hard maple, black walnut, cherry, poplar, and hickory among a few other woods that are local to the east coast.
Location?
Our shop is located in the beautiful historic Town of Occoquan, VA. Right off intersection I-95, under the Route 123 bridge.
Do we offer classes?
Due to limited tools, equipment and safety concerns, we are not offering classes at this time.
